Jack Up Barge

“Ocean Driller” is a floating barge fitted with long support legs, one in each corner that can be raised and lowered. These legs are 27m long.

The jack-up is maneuvered into position with the legs up and floating on the water. Once in position the legs (spuds) are jacked down onto the seafloor.

The use of a jack-up barge takes away the problem of tidal conditions and provides a safe and stable platform for both our employees and clients.

This barge can be modified to suit client requirements.
